All Quiet on The NASCAR Front

Slow day today in the realm of NASCAR, but I did find two things of interest to me:

1) Jaynelle Ramon posted today on her Blog 'Track Talk' a link to The Associated Press' new Interactive Multimedia NASCAR page. I was just there and it is cool! Just follow the link and check it out for yourself!

2) Marc over at Full Throttle posted an interesting article on the newly established 'Speed Car Series' that is headed up by F1 boss Bernie Eccelstone and is a NASCAR-style form of auto racing that will launch later this year in Asia. Oddly enough the cars look just like NASCAR cars and this series is cutting in to the Asian market that the France Family has been eyeing for sometime. Can you just feel the tension in the air right now? Ouch!

Finally, if you have never been to the new NASCAR online community called 'Infield Parking', or haven't been there in a while I suggest you take a right turn and 'park' yourself over there for a little while and check it out. In addition to Dale Jr being a regular visitor (and part owner of the site), Kevin Harvick is now a member and is giving away stuff. Other drivers that have recently been added include; Tony Stewart, Dale Jarrett, Shane Huffman, Bobby Labonte, Kasey Kahne, Elliott Sadler, Jamie McMurray, and Denny Hamlin.

I am a member of the Infield Parking and I think it's awesome!!! Wish it had the ability to send "messages" to the other members like 'myspace' has, other than that, I love it!!!
