Here Is What AT&T Should Do

Evolution of a sponsorship (Cingular, AT&T, Court Injunction Blankness)

Stick it to all of them by putting up an absolutely irresistible offer to sponsor the current "lame duck" sponsored NASCAR Busch Grand National Series. I wonder if NASCAR would be able to work out the sponsorship problems of the Jeff Burton driven RCR #31 car then. I bet so. After all, it is all about money and nothing else, right?

This would be a good alternative but I am not sure it would fly...I don't see why a compromise can't be worked out..when Winston was the title sponsor Camel worked around it with the Smoking Joe campaign on Travis carter's car..AT&T would have been better off being creative like that instead of doing the court thing...It's now got to the point where Subway has backed off sponsoring the Busch series because they don't want to get embroiled in a exclusivity clause like Sprint-Nextel has on their hands....

Winston owned the Camel brand, that is why they were able to work things out. You may not be too far off the Subway thing though.

Brilliant idea, except then we would start getting ads from Sprint/Nextel bragging that they were better than ATT/Cingular because they have the senior circuit.

Maybe they'll all lower their rates as a result. No that would be nice.
