I Want Your Opinion

I was recently contacted by the people at Schmap and they asked me if I would be interested in testing out their new NASCAR Widget. So I placed the widget on my side bar and I have it in this post for you to look at.

Play with it and either email me or leave a comment about it and let me know what you think. Tell me what you like about it, what you don't like, how to improve it, whatever.

Thanks.

Considering it never displayed after waiting over a minute I don't have much of an opinion.

What did display was a small link, "here" at the top of the widget and the prerequisite "get this widget" link at the bottom.

Following the link to view it, it's ok, its a widget not much else to say.

At this point I'm about "widgeted out." Many, including this one, only serve to slow loading of the page they are placed on.

Not a good thing.

I'll give mine a week. So far it is kinda cool. Hopefully it won't slow my page either.

Hmmmm, I wonder where they got the idea? Considering I have links to most of the tracks Google map overhead shots already in my side bar, and have had for some time, this looks like a off shoot of my idea. Where's Google Lawyer when you need it! (HA!)

I have one of those things on my site too. I think it is cool. The only downside is that it can take some extra time to load at first, but overall I like it.

Hi, I have the widget too, I was contacted by email too and I accepted, so right now I am trying it out.

As for thoughts, its a three in one that needs to be custimized a little bit.

I'll be interested in seeing if your readers like it, let along mine.
