Kevin Harvick survives a wreck filled 75 lap shootout to win Richard
Childress Racing their 6th Budshoot Out victory.
Childress Racing their 6th Budshoot Out victory.Harvick managed to weave his way through wrecks and survived a brush with the wall to be there at the end when it counted. Just look at the side of Kevin's car to see what I'm talking about. He even lost the draft twice. Man.
This race was a good kick off to the 2009 racing season.

I was pretty excited to see the cars back on the track for the 2009 season, but after watching the Shootout, I’m concerned that the quality of the Goodyear tires might yet again be a factor during the season. ..

I was excited too and although Goodyear did bring a better tire this year I think still think we haven't seen the last of tire issues as of yet.
