It works

hey now I know how to do something else here – now if I could just find that spellnig checker …

My whole take on the wreck

Vickers knew Jr. was a lap down, and he should have known Jr. had a better car. What’s the harm in letting him past, especially if Jr. is already in the Lucky Dog spot? Vickers shouldn’t have have forced Jr. almost to the grass, and if you’re to take him at his word, Jr. was just trying to get back in line. I don’t think Jr. is a dirty driver, and I don’t think he’s stupid enough to do something that could, and did, take out half the field.

As far as spell check, I use Firefox and downloaded the spell check add-on which puts a red line under misspelled words. It works fine here at SBN.

Vickers was a lap down too so he was fighting to be the ‘lucky dog’ too so what that translates into is a block.

thanks for the spell check advice BTW

That was not a block?

BLOCK? As you can see by the replays, Vickers car went sideways. Is that a block? looks like intentionally trying to wreck someone. Get them old blind farts out of the booth and get some new ones that know something about today’s NASCAR racing. Nascar is in for some big problems if they don’t stop some of these idiot, chicken xxxt calls.

I’m a bit of a Jr fan myself and even I thought it was a deliberate move on Jr’s part at first – I think the guys in the booth called it right at the time. DW and the rest started to change their minds after watching many of the replays – that is also when I started to sing a bit of a different tune too, but let me tell you when it first happened I was like “Oh man they’re going to park Jr, I can’t believe he just did that.”

Both at fault.

I’ve watched the tapes a number of times and from every different angle FOX has and I have to say that this is not all of Dale Earnhadrt Jr.‘s fault, Brian Vickers put a real agresstive block on Dale Jr., Vickers ran junior all the way down to the yellow line, and with Dale Jr.’s run that he had, there was bound to be contact down to the line and then when Junior came back up to blend, he hit Vickers.

Yes Vickers and Dale jr where both agressive, yes Vickers made a huge block that was not needed and yes Dale Jr. made contact back on Vickers while blending in behind, however both where at fault, but not intentional period.

I’m more inclined to go with this statement as opposed to any other – shared responsibility!

I bet Vickers wouldn’t have done that block if there was no rain in the area.

JR. Should have been black flagged and lost points.....

This is very simple folks, Junior turned him. Period.

If Junior runs into the back of Vickers and sends Vickers sideways, so be it. Bad move by Vickers.

The facts are that Vickers blocked him, Junior went below the line and then turned into Vickers, intentional or not, and spun Vickers out.

For Junior, ultimately it doesn’t matters what I think. And it matters not what the clowns at the top of NASCAR think. All that matter is what the drivers who got collected in his mess think. I can’t wait for the next time Junior is leading a race with a few to go and he’s got one of those boys following him.

Sooner or later, he’ll pay for this move/mistake.

well Kyle Busch has already shown at Ricmond last year that he isn’t afraid of dumping Jr when he needs to and I’m sure there will be others in the future too.
