Eight Years Ago Today We Lost Dale Earnhardt

Man, eight years.  Has it really been that long?  It really seems like it was just a few days ago - for me anyway.

I left the sport after his death, for about 3 years and then I came back to NASCAR but not like before.  I have not vested as much into another driver as I did with Dale and I never will.
