Race day Open Thread: Coke Zero 400 powered by Coca-Cola | Daytona International Speedway
Hello everyone. I'm sorry I haven't been around here lately - this is starting to sound like a broken record I know - but I'm still not feeling to well. It's like dominoes once I get over something, another thing rears its ugly head.
Anyway here is your starting line-up.

Some things to talk about:
Will Jr make the chase?
What about that whole Mayfield thing?
How about Logano? Good call by Zippy.
I'll try and check in later - if I'm not sleeping that is.

Good race for a restrictor plate race, hats off to Tony Stewart, good victory.
Will Jr make the chase? From this Dale Jr. fan, unfortunately I don’t see Dale Jr. making the chase in 2009, he should now be going for victories like Tony Stewart did a few years ago
What about that whole Mayfield thing? I don’t comment on lawsuits, but in general, anybodu who races or completes in sports must be clean before completing including being a racecar driver and more.
How about Logano? Loved seeing Joey Logano win last weekend at New Hampshire, I was their in person for that one, that was a good call by Zippy.
I don’t care much for restrictor plate racing, however the Coke Zero 400 gave a whole new meaning to the Firecracker 400, what a race for a restrictor plate race. As for the las lap, Tony Stewart did nothing wrong, Kyle Busch had the bottom line, if he would have held it, he might have beat Stewart to the line, but instead he went up to block, good job to Tony Stewart, one hellava run.

Well you see ...
I agree with the Jr debate – I think its done and they should just go for checkers or wreckers from here on out.
Mayfield? Not touching that one. What I can say here though is I can see both sides of this arguement and all that I hope for out of all of this is that once this is said and done it will make the system better for everyone involved.
Logano and Zippy are like bread and butter – get it?
I like restrictor plate racing – not so much for the crashes but for the drving ability one must show the whole entire race, not just the last 10 or so laps. And I agree Stewart did nothing wrong and if I were Busch I probably would have tried to throw a block too.
