Rumours True: Keselowski to drive for Penske in 2010 (Updated)
Penske racing announced this maorning that Brad Keselowski will be driving the #12 Penske car in both Nationwide and Cup next year and beyond. Brad will replace David Stremme on the Cup side and be Penske-up-and-comer Justin Allgaier's Nationwide teammate.
"We are very excited to welcome Brad to the Penske Racing family," team owner Roger Penske said. "Brad has shown terrific success on track the past several years and has quickly established himself as one of the top young stars in racing. He comes from an impressive family background in motorsports. He is a proven winner and a welcome addition to our team."
... more after the jump ...
Keselowski who has been tight-lipped about his moving to Penske since the rumour of his move surfaced about a month ago had this to say about his move;
"Penske Racing is one of the top teams in all of motorsports and I am honored to join Roger Penske's organization and compete for wins with his Cup and Nationwide Series teams. This is a great opportunity for me to continue competing in the Nationwide Series and to run my first full season in the Cup Series with a strong and experienced team."
I guess there really was no more room at the "Hendrick Inn" for Brad after all and according to this article there really wasn't. Rick Hendrick just couldn't make it work for Brad and under Dale Jr's advice Keselowski accepted Penske's offer.

Runours is not ...
spelt wrong BTW, not if you live in Canada. Just so you know we spell color and favor the same way we spell rumour with a ‘our’ ending as in colour and favour.
