It's just you.

The racing has been great. Go take your meds.

By the way been a fan for 42 years. The chase started and it went down hill.

I'm going to go ahead and assume

that you were heavily intoxicated when you made your first post.

It was incoherent and downright weird. Things have certainly changed… some for the good, some not so good. But it is still NASCAR… and it still makes Sundays and the occasional Saturday night a helluva a lot of fun. Every sport has things that fans hate.

For example:

Major League Baseball – no salary cap. lack of parity in payroll.
NFL – “pussification of the game”. increase in ridiculous penalties, etc to protect the QB.
NBA – ummm… where to even begin. Literally everything is wrong here.
College Football -People hate the BCS system
College Basketball – Regular season games don’t matter
Boxing – greed, corruption, big fights regularly falling apart.

The thing is, true fans still watch their sport(s), because it is what they love. They may do some complaining around the water cooler (or anonymously on the internet), but they still tune in because they love it. It gives us that release from the every day, and the stress that comes with that.

True fans don’t drunkenly stumble on to a blog to blab about how it ‘suckssssssss’. Give me a break. We should feel lucky that year after year, NASCAR’s governing body makes every effort to improve their product and make it something that both the fans and the competitors enjoy.

The racing is still there, the speed is still there, the adrenaline rush is still there, the rivalries are still there (just think… two weeks ago, Athletic and I almost broke into e-fisticuffs over the 99 and the 12.)

I hate seeing Jimmie becoming the Yankees as much as you do, but I hope we can both agree that your post was just silly.

Pussification

That’s my word of the week. Thank you friend. There just isn’t enough opportunities to use a word like that in everyday speaking. +1 my friend. You are right.

You know

I find it pretty amazing that as soon as this is posted here at NASCAR RnR there is a link to this post within seconds at another site. So “What are you really trying to do here?” is the question I’m asking you.

What exactly are you looking for in race?

I think we’ve seen lots of different types excitment so far this season.

something other than IROC

by tbltaz on Mar 22, 2010 8:32 PM EDT up reply actions

Hey

I liked IROC its too bad that they couldn’t find a series sponsor I really enjoyed the premise of it.

by 4ever3 on Mar 25, 2010 11:26 PM EDT up reply actions

So does your spelling

It’s the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing. Not NSACAR. You know, if this is a real post, I have to say, the racing has been great, not the winner. You can’t say nascar sucks just because Jimmie Johnson wins all the time. Last year everyone complained because he really only won a few races, and then dominated the chase. So this year, he’s dominating the regular season. Yes, Hendrick does have a bit of an advantage due to money, but you can’t salary cap Nascar. It wouldn’t work. I hate Johnson too, but not enough to stop watching great stock car racing.

by Troy J. on Mar 22, 2010 9:47 AM EDT reply actions

Sorry about the spelling. Nascar needs to stay out and let these guys race. To many rule changes.

by tbltaz on Mar 22, 2010 8:35 PM EDT up reply actions

If you don't like nascar why do you watch it or post about it?

If your handing out tickets to the Daytona and Homestead races can I have a couple?
ssssssssssssssssssssssss…..I can do that too.

by dacnole on Mar 22, 2010 10:50 AM EDT reply actions

Ask Daytona for my tickets or do you know how that works.

by tbltaz on Mar 22, 2010 8:37 PM EDT up reply actions

No you got it all wrong he doesn't hate NASCAR

He hates nsacar totally different

Bad pick Peyton "Regular Season" Manning!!!

by Athletic on Mar 26, 2010 12:59 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah, I almost feel bad for my rant...

Since he was simply speaking of another organization. How foolish of us.

NSACAR totally suckssssssssssssssssssssss

by Hatfield on Mar 26, 2010 9:52 PM EDT up reply actions

I heard that NSACAR was on the verge of closing anyways. I mean, who can even find one of there events on TV?
