Andrew Ranger wins big race in Toronto this past weekend
OK this is big for several reasons;
- this is Andrew's 10th win in 3 years in the Canadian Tire Series
- his 3rd win this season, and he isn't even racing full-time in the Series this year
- and finally this is the first Canadian Tire Series Race televised live on television
Congratulations go out to Andrew and his team for an awesome run in Toronto on the same course that the Indy cars ran on this weekend too.
You know the Canadian Tire Series is some good racing, I wonder why Danica Patrick didn't suit up and drive one of these cars on Saturday too? It certainly would have given her some good seat-time to say the least, and she could have got some good tips from former Indy driver turned stock car driver, Andrew Ranger, too. Oh well.
Finishing order after the jump.

I would have loved to see this race, had I known it was going to be on TV. Maybe we should have a weekly post of the times and channels of races for the week?
Good idea but ...
this race was only aired in Canada (I blelieve), so unless you get illegal sattelite feeds from Canada I don’t think you’re gonna get it.
I think this is a FANTASTIC idea
I’m a huge boxing nut…. as well as racing and baseball. The boxing blog here on SBNation does a great job of roughly the same idea.

This comes out every Monday and is an excellent guide to what matches, small and large, will be televised that week/weekend.
The same thing done here… even if it is brief… would make for a solid read.
