What will the duels bring us?

Tomorrow there will be two Gatorade duels. Two sixty lap races to decide not only where drivers will start in the Daytona 500, but also what drivers will be in the Daytona 500. Who wins and will be able to realize their dream and get into the Daytona 500? I will take a shot at guessing.

Race One: Race one always seems a little bit crazier than race two. both races will have their fair share of crashes a there will be drivers doing what ever it takes to make it into the Daytona 500. Tony Stewart will be your winner in the first duel, and racing their way in will be Michael Waltrip and Robby Gordon. Terry Labonte will get is by using his champion's provisional.

Race Two: Race two will be a good one as well. This one just like the first one is packed with drivers that must race hard to get into the 500. Martin Truex Jr will be your winner in duel number two, and racing their way in will be Kenny Wallace and Dave Blaney.

What i wrote could happen, or something completely different. That is the fun of racing, you never know what you are going to get.

Hey Misan, welcome back!

Fair assessment. I could argue your points if..

1) I thought you were wrong (I don’t)
2) If I could make a more rational argument (It’s Daytona — I can’t)

I may just pick winners out of a hat again. It’s better than doing math – I was told there would be no math.

first 125 race

nascar has turned into a bunch of pansy asses… throwing a caution on the last lap of a race when a wreck takes place in the very back of the pack….. when all the good racing is just about to start after watching cars go around for about an hour and the racing is just going to start …..if there is a wreck in the back of the pack keep the darn flag in your pocket and let your fans enjoy 1/2 of a lap of pure racing ……how darn foolish can u get
